State Parks
There are two beautiful Washington State Parks located on Bainbridge Island - Fay Bainbridge State Park on the east side of the Island facing Seattle with views of the City and shipping lanes and Fort Ward State Park on the west side of the Island facing Rich Passage with views of the ferries. Both parks have beautiful walking paths, picnic areas, boat launching facilities and public restrooms. In the vicinity of Bainbridge Island is Blakely Island State Park located between Vashon Island and Bainbridge Island, eight miles west of Seattle and only accessible by boat.
